Roaches
What They Are
Roaches are one of the most common household pests in Louisiana because they thrive in warm, humid environments. The most common types we see are German cockroaches (small, light brown indoor roaches) and the larger American and Smokybrown cockroaches, often called “palmetto bugs.” Once they get inside, they hide in dark, tight spaces and multiply quickly.
Where You’ll See Them
Roaches are most often found in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, pantries, and around appliances — especially at night.
Why They’re a Problem
Roaches may come in through tiny gaps, drains, pipes, grocery bags, cardboard boxes, used furniture, or outdoor entry points — and Louisiana humidity makes homes especially attractive to them.
How They Get Inside
Our general pest control service targets roaches where they live and breed — not just where you see them. We use a strategic treatment plan designed for Louisiana homes to reduce activity, break the breeding cycle, and help prevent future infestations with ongoing protection.
